Consolidation settlement calculation and examination of the foundation settlements with finite elements method, example of Batman city Gültepe bridge

In this study, geological and geotechnical studies were carried out on the soil of a bridge built in 2015 Gültepe District Batman City, located southeastern Turkey, to perform foundation settlement calculation. For purpose, four boreholes drilled determine engineering parameters soil, triaxial pressure consolidation tests obtained samples. The calculation was made accordance with these parameters.
